Horizontal Configuration

Two configurations are allowed for Student Chapter modifiers.

The vertical version is preferred and is described in detail here. However certain applications will work better with the horizontal version.

As shown here, the Student Chapter and university or college name modifiers are flush left and moved to the right of ASCE. All of the guides for the type formatting for the vertical version apply to the horizontal version.

The bottom of the words “Student Chapter” should align with the bottom of the logo. The university or college name should not exceed the equivalent width of the ASCE logo, even in this configuration. The space between the ASCE logo and the modifier is equal to the height of the bottom arm of the E in ASCE.
