Secondary Typeface

The preferred secondary typefaces are ITC Garamond Standard and Univers Condensed Bold.

Garamond is the preferred typeface in cases where there is a lot of text or when the text is displayed in a very small point size. The recommended tracking is -3.

Using Garamond that is installed in Microsoft Windows is allowed. Arial is also an acceptable alternative.

The ITC Garamond Standard typeface by Adobe systems is available in Macintosh and PC versions and can be acquired for ASCE staff by placing a track it ticket with IT.

Univers Bold Condensed is available at fonts.com. It should be used primarily for Institute chapter logos and headlines.
