Institute Awards - Preferred Format

The horizontal version shown here is preferred and should be used whenever possible.

The award name is set in ITC Garamond Book Italic in upper and lower case and left justified. The size of the font is determined by the height of the upper case A in "Award" which should be approximately 1/5 the height of the Institute shield. The space between multiple line award names should equal approximately 1/2 the height of the lowercase a in "Award". The space between the shield and the award name should be equal to the width of the letter r in "Award". The award name should be centered horizontally to the height of the Institute shield. Proper names should not be placed on multiple lines and the award name should not appear on more than three lines.
